Google 取消教育帳號無限儲存空間，我們的檔案該何去何從？

根據Google Workplace 的資訊，G Suite 教育版更名為「Google Workplace for Education」，仍舊包含G Suite 教育版的服務，例如課堂、會議、雲端硬碟、 ... Share 繼取消無限雲端空間與無線相簿空間後，Google再於近期宣布，將停止GSuite教育版的無限儲存空間，並從2022年7月起，將儲存空間減少到100TB。

另外，2022年新申請的客戶將直接適用此政策。

GoogleWorkplaceforEducation仍舊包含GSuite教育版的服務 根據GoogleWorkplace的資訊，GSuite教育版更名為「GoogleWorkplaceforEducation」，仍舊包含GSuite教育版的服務，例如課堂、會議、雲端硬碟、Gmail、Calendar等等，但會區分免費與付費版本。

原先學校的免費版GSuite教育版更名為「GoogleWorkspaceforEducationFundamentals」，除了名稱與空間，其餘幾乎沒有改變。

校方可以付費，購買GoogleWorkspaceforEducationPlus，可獲得進階教學工具、安全與分析功能。

此外，還有GoogleWorkspaceforEducationStandard和TeachingandLearningUpgrad等兩種付費版本，增加了GoogleMeet最多250名線上會議與1萬人同步觀看直播、互動、分組討論等功能。

100TB免費，付費可獲得額外空間 GoogleWorkspaceforEducationFundamentals有100TB的空間（含Google雲端硬碟、Google相簿、Gmail）。

付費購買GoogleWorkspaceforEducationPlus的授權，可獲得額外的空間。

根據GoogleWorkplace的資訊，每購買一份可增加20GB；若以付費員工授權的方式購買，則可增加100GB。

此為Google提供的試算範例：若購買5,000份GoogleWorkspaceforEducationPlus授權，儲存空間就是600TB。

100TB（基本儲存空間）+（5,000份授權x100GB=500TB）=600TB的可用儲存空間 空間超過使用上限，就無法上傳新的檔案到Google硬碟與相簿，也會影響Gmail的收發信件功能。

建議將檔案備份到自己的空間 新制實施後，由於免費空間有限，校友將是受影響最深的族群，學校會清除兩年都沒使用的幽靈帳號。

因此，建議將重要檔案備份到自己的Google帳號空間。

若自己的免費帳號空間不足，可參考以下付費空間： ▌GoogleOne：100GB，每年新台幣650元 ▌iCloud：50GB，每月新台幣30元 ▌OneDrive：100GB，每月新台幣60元（單購雲端空間）；1TB，每月新台幣219元（Office365個人版服務） Google取消免費無限空間政策是可以預期的。

許多使用者濫用GSuite教育版帳號空間，放置電影、軟體、遊戲，甚至兜售GSuite教育版帳號，導致Google取消無限空間。

當然，使用者付費是合理的，我們得付錢買實體硬碟，因此付費買雲端空間也是應該的。
