Well,sneakingaroundbecamemyforteandIevenearnedthenickname‘shadows’–but,Iwouldsaysomeofthehighlightswereworkingwiththestuntteam.Theseguysweretopnotchandsuperpassionate.IgottolearnandtrynewthingsI’dneverthoughtIcoulddo.Horseridingandhand-to-handcombatIcannowaddtomyrepertoire!Theattentiontodetailtheteamwentintowastrulyamazing,itwasn’tjustaboutbeingflashyandimpressiveforthecamerasbutalsotruetothetimeandcircumstances.Thiscouldbesaidfortheentireproduction,setdesign,costumeandmake-upallresearchedandtailoredspecificallythatmaketheshowricheronalllevels. Didyoudoanypreparationfortheseries? I’mveryfamiliarwithGreekMythologyandabigfansoIdippedmytoebackintocertainstoriestorekindlethefeelingandtones.Butasfarascharacterpreparation,beingonsetandinconstantdialoguewithcastandproduction,thatwasimmersiveenoughtobuildonasIwent.Ultimatelytheseriesisrootedinhonest,genuinehumanexperience,soIdrewfrommyownlife.Apowerfulnarrativethroughouttheseriesisidentity.Everycharacterisbattlingwiththeirplaceintheworldandcircumstancesthey’vefoundthemselvesinorchosentobein,andnowtheyhavetodealwiththeconsequences.
