Createaplaintextdocument In-textcitationsandthebibliographyinaWorddocumentarelinkedwithyourMendeleylibrary.However,youcanmakeaplaintextdocumentwithoutMendeleyfieldcodes. Afteryoucompleteyourwriting,clicktheReferenceribbononthetopofyourWorddocument. IntheMendeleyWordplug-inbar,clickthe Exportas drop-downmenu,select WithoutMendeleyFields         Savethisfiletoyourcomputer.ThiswillcreateaduplicateddocumentwithoutMendeleyfieldcodes.Whenyouclickonthereferencesorin-textcitations,youwillnotseethegraycolourbackground.
