Asyoutypeinyoursearchquery,articlesmatchingyourquerywillbelisted.Clickontherelevantarticlefromthelistofresults. Youcansearchformorearticlesifyouarecitingmorethanone. ClickontheOKbuttonwhenyouarereadytoinsertyourcitation/s. Thiswilladdthein-textcitationsintoyourdocumentaccordingtotheselectedcitationstyle. YoucaneasilychangethecitationstyleinyourWorddocument: GototheReferencestabinyourWorddocument,andintheMendeleyCite-O-Maticpanel,selectyourpreferredstylefromtheStyle:drop-downlist. Ifyourpreferredcitationstyledoesnotappearinthelist,thenselecttheMoreStyles...optionatthebottomofthelisttochoosefromamorecomprehensivelist. Youcaninsertabibliographyatanypointinyourwritingprocess.Oncethebibliographyhasbeeninserted,itwillautomaticallyupdatewheneveranewin-textcitationisadded. Ensureyourcursorisinthespotwhereyouwouldlikeyourbibliographytoappear-Thisisoftenbelowaheadingyou’vecreatedforthebibliography. GototheReferencestabinyourWorddocument,andintheMendeleyCite-O-Maticpanel,clickontheInsertBibliographybutton. Thebibliographywillthenbegeneratedaccordingtoyourchosencitationstyle. Whenyouhavecompletedyourdocument,itisbesttoremovetheMendeleycodingbeforesubmittingorsharingit. GototheReferencestabinyourWorddocument,andintheMendeleyCite-O-Maticpanel,clickontheExportasdrop-downlist,andselecttheWithoutMendeleyFieldsoption. Followthepromptstosaveaduplicatecopyofyourdocument.
