COVID-19response Developingcountriesaremostatriskduring–andintheaftermath–ofthepandemic,notonlyasahealthcrisisbutasadevastatingsocialandeconomiccrisisoverthemonthsandyearstocome.AccordingtoUNDPincomelossesareexpectedtoexceed$220billionindevelopingcountries,andanestimated55percentoftheglobalpopulationhavenoaccesstosocialprotection.Theselosseswillreverberateacrosssocieties;impactingeducation,humanrightsand,inthemostseverecases,basicfoodsecurityandnutrition.
