Topairwiththislayeredchocolatemoussecakewithroastedchestnuts,I’veselectedthe2019ErathPinotNoir.PinotNoirisanincrediblyversatilewinethatcomplementsawidevarietyoffoods.Therichflavorsofchocolateandsweetnuttinessofroastedchestnutspairwellwithredwine.Indeed,ItalyMagazinedeclareschestnutsandwine"amatchmadeinheaven." 2019ErathPinotNoir–Mouthwateringaromasofsummeryredcherry,currantandredplumareseasonedwithfragrantrosepetal,lavenderandanise.Characteristicflavorsofpomegranate,cranberry,andpiecherrycoatthepalatewithapleasingweightiness.ThefatcontentinthechocolatechestnutmoussehelpsdelivertheredfruitflavorsofthisPinotNoirtothepalate.
