Thesedays,whenmychildrenattempttorupturemyzenwhilstIamtryingtogetmyselfsortedinthekitchen,Ifindmyselfbrieflypausingandaskingmyself,“WhatwouldMimido?” First,maybeMimi’schildrenwouldn’tbeflatoutonthekitchenfloor,takingupvaluablerealestateinourtinykitchen,andhystericalbecausetheywantpastaandIamcookingrice. Butitisneverthelessreassuringtohavearolemodeltolookupto;thedaymychildrenbegmeforfoiegrasontoast(whichIwitnessedMimi’schildrendoing),IwillknowthatIhaveachievedsomething!
